Business Group Partnerships

Ashoka’s Group Partnerships involve business associations or philanthropic organizations whose members want to engage with, or gain exposure to, the world’s leading social entrepreneurs. Ashoka arranges Fellow speakers at conferences, issue roundtables, and access to country directors’ expertise on markets and issues.

Our current partnerships include:

Young President’s Organization – the Young President’s Organization (YPO), the world's largest network of global business CEO’s, is connecting its members to Ashoka Fellows worldwide through their Social Enterprise Network. To date, YPO member engagement has taken a variety of forms, including nominating, mentoring, and creating joint ventures with Fellows, as well as supporting and advising Ashoka itself. In exchange, Ashoka provides unique learning opportunities to YPO members in the field of social entrepreneurship and the citizen sector.

The Asia Society – In October 2007, the Asia Society formed a global partnership with Ashoka to foster social entrepreneurship in Asia and the United States, in conjunction with its Young Leaders Summit in Singapore, which brought together 200 of Asia’s most dynamic and innovative young leaders. By connecting business entrepreneurs with social entrepreneurs, the partnership fosters opportunities for learning, collaboration, and support across sectors. The Asia Society and Ashoka are working together in: Mumbai, Manila, Hong Kong, Washington DC, New York City, and San Francisco.
